Yoga at the Upland Sports Arena!

Come experience the beauty of Yoga at the Upland Sports Arena. No matter your age, athletic or flexibility level, yoga is for everyone. Those who are new to yoga will find a physical path that harmonizes mind & body. Anyone can do yoga with the right attitude. Yoga combines physical activity with breath to reduce stress, control weight, relieve lower back pain and enhance focus.
Come to class prepared to turn your gaze inward. You will see changes occur rather quickly if you stick to the practice. There are so many ways to grow, learn and excel.
In these Yoga classes you will be guided through Vinyasa Flow Yoga which is a style of Yoga that encourages mindful breathing. Each breath that is taken, a new pose is introduced. This style is more fluid than traditional Yoga by linking breath to movement, and is practiced by all ages and athletic abilities.
What should I bring to class? Bring a water bottle, a hand towel and a Yoga mat if you have one. You can rent mats & Yoga blocks for $1.00 each. Wear exercise clothing that you can sweat in.
When should I arrive to class? Please arrive 5-10 minutes before class to get prepared. Class will start and stop on time. Please be mindful of this and do not be late. If you need to leave class early, let your instructor know ahead of time.
Can I practice Yoga? If you have any serious physical ailments, please be sure to consult your doctor before taking class. If you have minor joint pain or injuries, please let your yoga instructor know ahead of time so they can be aware to offer modifications for some of the poses. Remember, Yoga is your own practice. Accept where you are physically and progress from there. Push yourself to where you feel comfortable. Forcing your body beyond its limits to compete with others in class will only cause injury.

1 hour class: $12.00
Thursdays: 6:00, 7:00 & 8:00 PM
Fridays: 11:30 AM
45 minute class: $10.00
Fridays: 9:00 AM
