Jimmy Nordberg – Co-Founder & Head Trainer
Jimmy grew up playing club soccer in Alta Loma for the 1979 Arsenal. Upon graduating from Rancho Cucamonga High School in 1997, he played soccer at Azusa Pacific University from 1997-1998, before transferring to Cal State San Bernardino where he played from 1999-2001. During college, Jimmy earned all American honors as 1st team All Far West, All GSAC and CCAA all-conference honors. After college he played from 2002-2003 for the Salt Lake City Blitzz.
Jimmy has had extensive experience training many local club teams for over 10 years. Jimmy holds an “A” License for coaching from the United States Soccer Federation, and has worked hand in hand with European Clubs over the years, learning what it takes to develop players in America. Jimmy has developed a progressive curriculum for our athletes constructed from his experience with coaching in America and abroad.
Jimmy is currently the head coach of Ontario Fury.
Ibra played 4 years of soccer at Upland High School and then went right into coaching. In high school he played the center back position. He currently coaches Junior Varsity at Upland High School as well as a girls ’03 Celtic Club team and a boys ’00 Golden State FC team. He has been coaching for 3 years. His favorite soccer player is Zinedine Zidane because he loves the way he plays. His favorite soccer memory is all the years he spent playing at Upland High School.
Paymon has been playing the game of soccer for the past 17 years, most notably for the Claremont Stars and Celtic Premier. He most recently was a standout player for Claremont High School from 2009-2013, and after graduating went on to play for Citrus College for 2 years. He currently is the Head Coach of the Freshmen Boys soccer team at Claremont High School. Paymon developed a love for the game because of his Dad and loves coaching younger players because of how rewarding it is to see them progress.
Teresa has been playing the game of soccer for the past 16 years, most notably for the La Verne Lazers and Arsenal Academy. Her love of the game and inspiration to develop young players comes from her Dad who coached her since she was 5 years old. She is most excited by seeing the improvements her players make after each session!
